Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary...

Mary, Mary quite contrary, How does your garden grow?
You have no idea how many times I have heard this in my lifetime. As a child it drove me nuts! I didn't know what I was supposed to say to that. But now I have an answer....

I've come a long way since May...

It rained all week and everything is bursting everywhere.

Amidst all those flowers and herbs are tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, cukes to name a few.

And the Nikko Blue Hydrangea are looking lovely.

So that's how my garden grows!

Your garden is so Beautiful, Mary!! That's one thing I miss so badly down here. I used to have a great veggie garden....grew times what we needed then gave it away...just for the thrill of growing it! I understand your devotion to your garden completely!

Hi Amy. Thanks. I do love creating places to just hang out and then not hang out in them much. I guess I should work on the hanging out part. I always have an image of myself lounging about, reading a book....

Your garden is superb. I wish I'd had time to garden this year, but what with moving house and being professionally homeless and all, it's been hard to keep even houseplants!

Lukku- sometimes houseplants are enough. Just a little something will do.
