Slowly but surely...

I have been working steadily on the mosaic. Today I got some help in the form of my daughter Lisa. She was awesome. A natural.

I spent more hours than I care to mention on the scales of the mermaids body.

Then the 13 year old boys came in and wanted to know where the mermaids boobies were.
Ah boys.

Wow! Oh My Oh My
Beautiful indeed.
Looks like great fun.
Funny you should say no swimming pools (yet) but mermaids would be most be most often found in and or swimming pools, would they not?
when they were done mosaic-ing...

Yes, and so, where are the boobs?

Nice work Mary, really! I wish I could be as motivated these days. I'm in a slump. Send some Mojo my way!

Quasar- Quite right. Hopefully I will be retiring to the ocean any day now.

Spado- As I told the boys, they are there and I know you can see them.
You have the mojo spado. Let it flow.

That's gorgeous. Oh, I love the pictures where you show snippets of your life.
As for the 13 yr.olds, *sigh*, that's where boys' heads are at that age...seems like it gets younger and younger every year.

It's looking good, Mary! You may have inspired me to do another mosaic for Casa del Mar!
Adam keeps asking for one behind the bar...
Isn't so relaxing! The one in front of the bar took me 25 hours!

Boys and boobies!!!!

Thank you Glenda.
These paticular 13 year old boys keep me on my toes for sure.

Cream- So glad to inspire you. Could Casa del Mar need a mermaid? I think you're up to it. Maybe yours could reveal her boobies and lure in more customers.

This is a fireplace surround for someones home.

Fireplace surround? I think, the master of the house should just keep looking at the mermaid and that'll certainly keep him warm!
My bar is just abstract squiggles so if I do the back it would have to be similar.
But yes, I am sure a naked mermaid would entice more customers! hahaha
