My feet hurt people. My feet HURT!
2nd day in a row I stood for 8 plus hours mosaicing a backsplash. How can you sit and mosaic a backsplash. You can't that's how.
Yesterday was better because, well first off my feet were virgins to this activity and second I had a cushy pair of beat up, old, uggs on. This morning I got my uggs wet working w/the tile saw so I changed in to my Chucks which are really not cushy at all.
My feet hurt. Wah.

Oh, I hate that when my feet hurt - everything hurts. Got any good soaking solution for the little piggies? I can't wait to see the pictures of your work.

Sorry about your feeties, hon. I can relate. Being Diva two to three nights a week in not so practical shoes AND running around (maybe sitting for 10 minutes of every hour, times 5...more if it's a 6 to 8 hour night), by the end of the night I am wishing for feet implants. I have found a set of boots (two pairs, one brown one black) that seem to stand up to the test, but I keep a pair of flip-flops in my bag AND a pair of trendy sneaks, just in case the pain gets unbearable. Anybody who watches me work understands when I have to re-dress my feet in the evening for comfort vs fashion. I spend my days off barefooted, though.

When the piggies hurt, the whole body hurts, it seems!! The person who thinks they run everything around here has one of these, and she swears by it. A tad expensive....until you count the pain hours vs cost, then it's no contest. And Mr. Mom even sneaks into it when she's not home.:)

is that as in
never been stepped on, or ... never been stood on before

I don't know, I've heard of finding your sealegs on a boat ...
I guess mermaids need to get used to standing on two legs & two feet

Peacechick- I have been meaning to soak everyday but too tired to do it. I have been going to bed by 9. What a wimp!

Dizzy- I will take a lesson from the pro. When I used to have a real job I too carried multiple shoes. But working at home has spoiled me. It's good to complain because everyone's tips are so helpful. I coming back!

TUA! That looks like a uni UGG. I think if you bought her a pair of Uggs for Christmas she will adore you. She can wear them while she works.

Quasar- Exactly! Virgin mermaid feet! I love it!
