Here's a peek at my progress. I should finish today and grout tomorrow. Then I will take a better picture.

The problem with doing the actual mosaic in the customers house is they change their mind as you are going along. On this one they decided they wanted to do a sunset type of sky rather than blue (which you will see in the next one). This caused me to panic as I was not prepared for this. Luckily I had tile left from the mermaids hair...

I think I would have preferred to graduate the colors in the sunset rather than mix them all up but this is the way they wanted it and I was only too happy to oblige as I wasn't sure I had enough of the right colors to do it my way. It would have been a huge delay to do it my way (more glazing and firing).

Here is another section where the sky remains blue. My lovely daughter Lisa has been coming everyday after school to help. I only have to finish this sky today and another small section.

Hey! What's that on Lisa's feet? Chucks!

That is going to be faaaabuuuulous! Well done. When you talk about the chucks, I can't help but start the ol' "How much wood can a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? So a mosaic of the chucks in wood, would be faaaabuuuulous!
