Just when you're ready for Spring...

We finally got some snow. It started in the morning.

Gave me a serene view from the studio where yes, I did some work. The kids got off school two hours early.

It was still snowing when I left the studio.

Alas, in the morning school was only delayed to hours. Should have just given the poor, snow deprived, children the day off.

I'm seldom a fan of snow, but this one was just about perfect. Just enough white stuff to be picturesque, and not too tough to shovel.

It does look lovely and serene, but I can imagine with the kids off from school, the serene part kind of blew up.

I see you finally got the birthday present I sent you. Sorry it's so late ;)

I miss the snow (sorry for whispering...I don't miss it that much), but my front yard looks like a graveyard and our garden looks pitiful.

Hopefully Mr. Dizzy will use his fabulously green thumb to make something out of all of that before he deploys in the Fall.

Beautiful pics! Made me want to put on my parka and go play...
I don't think I have seen any snow at all this year!!! I usually manage to find my way toward some at some point.

It's supposed to hit 90 at my house next week. =(

Wow, you live in a beautiful area.. is that a river in the one vista? Or 'just' a meadow of sorts? Snow..I know my kids would be excited to experience some of it.. not where we live though..

JM- I am sure I didn't get half as much snow as you got in Jersey. This was really our first. So I am glad to see it when I get it. But your right it was the perfect snow.

Katie- The studio is a mess right now. At least that means I'm working.

Peacechick- I wasn't too upset the next morning when they only had 2 hr delay.

Thanks for the gift Dizzy. Isn't it nice having a husband w/a green thumb?

Good for me- It is beautiful. I really do miss the snow.

Coffee- Well you've had your share of it already so good.

Bluegrrrrl- 90! Yikes.

Just me- Thank you.

Ingrid- Just a big field. During the summer its full of tomatos or corn. Always nice to look at. Sadly it's for sale now.

Supergirlest- Me too.
