Back wall done

That was a killer wall. 5 1/2 days! Now I just go down the little (I say that now) sides. It doesn't seem like much but that's what I say everyday when I determine how much I will complete.

Heard from Michael (finally) and he will now arrive on the 5th. Waiting...

Michael woohoo! I can't wait to see the reunion pictures (as we've come to expect them from you)..
and how tenacious (or crazy haha) and detailed that work you did.. awesome girl! Do you make housecalls btw???? :)

Any work of art is eclipsed by the prospect of a returning son. I am very happy and relieved for you Mary. Happy hugs and kisses!
Ingrid

You SO need to make a trip to Indiana. I have a wall that needs you! LOL

Yeah MICHAEL. It's funny how we get so wrapped up in other people's lives on these dern things called blogs. I have been waiting patiently for you to hear from him. :)

Great news about Michael.
He's going to be so proud of you because it is looking beautiful.
What colour grout are you using?
I'm asking because I usually use food colouring if I don't want a white grout.
In Spain, I used turmeric because I had no other colouring at hand. And it really worked! Good job it was for the bbq outside.

Mary... MARY! - (grabbing your shoulders and shaking you)

MAGNIFICENT! Beautiful peacock wall. The colors are gorgeous. The spirals remind me of warm, tasty aromas wafting out through the kitchen.

When I grow up and have paid off all my school loans and can afford to buy a house, I hope that you're not so famous that I won't be able to afford to fly you to where ever I am so that you can do this to my kitchen too.

Just amazing!

(And I'm beyond thrilled that you heard from Michael!)
