All Done

Yesterday I did the grouting so I'm all done. My switchplate covers came in BROKEN but that's okay. I need to step away for a minute. Here's the finished product. I'm going to relax now.

That grout blended in very nicely.

Here's a poem my friend sent me:

Think Like a Tree

by Karen I. Shragg

Soak up the sun
Affirm life's magic
Be graceful in the wind
Stand tall after a storm
Feel refreshed after it rains
Grow strong without notice
Be prepared for each season
Provide shelter to strangers
Hang tough through a cold spell
Emerge renewed at the first signs of spring
Stay deeply rooted while reaching for the sky
Be still long enough to
hear your own leaves rustling.

CONGRATS MARY!!!! THE YHATES ARE PROUD! You have done marvelous work. The photos look great but for certain the work must be stunning to stand in front of it in person.

More important of your great creations is to hear your Micheal IS HOME!!!

Big accomplishments all over!

Brandon- Thank you!!! So glad to be done.

Y- I'm not very good at getting photos of my work. It never describes what I see.
Yes, more important Michael is home safe and sound. It's good stuff.

That is stunningly beautiful! Want to come to my house & make my kitchen prettier?
Oh & bring the kiln....

Wonder how much such a custom job & all those hours & materials just added to the value of the house?

Even more vlauable-- priceless, really is having your kiddo home.

How is he doing?
Does he talk about the experience, or just so damned happy to be out of there, can't go there right now?

The final product looks amazing, Mary.
I like your choice of grout. Had a good chuckle at the image of a massive truck bringing it.
