Yellow Rose Peace Bus

I don't know how many of you heard the story of the Yellow Rose Peace Bus but I first heard about it here. (Thanks Carol) Jim and his bus are great soldiers for peace. Jim recently lost the bus to fire. You can read about it on his blog Yellow Rose Peace Bus. Just scroll down a bit to get the story. There is also a great radio interview that is well worth the listen. He's the kind of American you can really admire. Stop by and show him a little love.

This sucks. The bus was doing some great work.
Effing coward wingtards were no doubt responsible for this. They are BIG, TOUGH guys when it comes to terrorizing little old ladies, or sneaking around and doing sh*t like this. But they don't have the guts to actually sign up and go fight in this war they all love so much.

I try hard to not hate them. I'm afraid I fail.I have nothing but hatred and contempt for the lot of them.

Awww damned shame. Even moreso if it really was vandalism- maybe even a hate crime? The democracy we live in is supposed to afford us the ability to speak freely, so by someone setting fire to a Peace Bus, is infringing on their free speech.

We have a Vets for Peace bus ehre that runs on biodiesel & says "Runs on Zero soldiers per mile...." on the side of the bus. Apparently that is too controversial for some vets. the bigger text says Veterans For Peace.

Sorry the Yellow Rose had an untimely demise, but I suspect there will be a Yellow Rose #2.
