Houston...we have a GRADUATE!

One of my friends who also had a child graduating said "I have never seen Lisa so animated. She is ready for New York City." It was such a true statement. She is usually so hard to read. Then again who among us was not overjoyed to be out of High School.

Congratulations! HS graduation is the gateway to adulthood...even though that kicks in bit by bit.
Such a happy time & feels like a huge accomplishment.
Savor it & ride the wave.

Congratulations Lisa!!!!! She really does look like she's wired and ready to go, doesn't it? "Bring it on, World!" have just a quarter of that energy.....:)

I echo the BB, but at the time of graduation, I was like an escapee from death row!:)

congratulations! And off to the exhileration and excitement of the City! Woo-Hoo!

I'll weigh in with those who wouldn't go back. I was happy enough at the time, actually, but ready to move on. I look back at it with horror and wonder how I endured!

Fran- You are so right, it is a happy time. And lucky Lisa unlike me at 18 she gets to spend her summer at the beach and then go off into the world. It should be a great summer for her.

TUA- "an escapee from death row" Ha! I could not have put that better myself. That is how I felt.

Betmo- If she doesnt like the city she will certainly find out. She has always enjoyed our visits in the past but I know living in one is another thing.

Hayden- I think I would go back and really take advantage of everything. I don't know...

I remember Lisa from Second Grade at Showell Elementary when I volunteered with reading. I thought she was the prettiest, smartest most vivacious kid of all. She still is!

At this huge transitional period from the comforts of home to the buzz of the city it is clear that her future glows brightly.

Congratulations Lisa-Carpe Diem!!!!

Congrats, Mary . . . you and your husband are to be commended . . .

What a cool time . . . long . . . but cool . . .

Zaq graduated, as well . . . he was sitting up front, second in from the speaker's podium . . . off to be a counselor at Camp Wright . . . and then to St. John's in Annapolis . . .

I think I saw you guys at the Wine Rack in West OC . . . we were all getting gas . . . I should've introduced myself . . . but shyness got the best of me . . . next time I'll break through it . . .

Congrats again . . .

Ocean-Ah you shoulda said hi for sure. I'm shy too though. I get it.

I wish I would have thought more about who else was graduating. It would have made it more "exciting". But it wasn't bad as far as graduations go. And congratulations to Zaq! The world is at his feet.

Robert- You're sweet.

E4E- Thank you.
