Papa's got a brand new bag!

Come here mama....and dig this crazy scene
He's not too fancy....but his line is pretty clean
He ain't no drag.
Papa's got a brand new bag

(of course that's the kid in it not the papa)

He got mad at me when I called it "a mid-life crisis". (Trust me, do not refer to it as such.)

He got it because he works hard and he wanted something. He does work hard. I agree. He most definitely deserves it.

I wonder what I will get for my mid-life crisis?

A swimming pool?

Right now all I have is a brand new hairdo that I guess I better get used to.

BB- Oh boy. He started out talking about a motorcycle. I guess I'm lucky this has 4 wheels. I hope you get what you want.

Krimo- Of course! It wouldn't be any fun if I didn't!

Hee-hee. I'm sure you'll think of something just as grand. I got myself a silver Jeep Cherokee. Top down, loud tunes, wind in my hair.

Mary,
My husbands not mid life crisis was the BMW, Aren't you glad men don't have them. It is a nice car though but I think a pool would do just fine. Have a great weekend!!!

LOL..ok ok..not a midlife crisis..what would you get (yourself?) holy cow well ..you 'could' get yourself a nice TAT like Gary orrr.. a pool..although that would be used by others..it really has to be something only 'pour vous'..hmmm..

how about a trip to Europe or perhaps one of the Greek isles with just you and sisters/girlfriends only? Ah..do I hear someone mention 'Shirley Valentine' anywhere?? naaah..no shirley valentinin'..just soakin' up the sun and deserved winks and hoots by those gorgeous black haired, sun tanned greek men who no doubt would looove the looks of a gorgeous blond 'thang'. (that'd be you)

if all else fails you can always sing mamma mia.. LOL!!

(leaves one to wonder...what the heck to do 'before' midlife strikes.. I'm trying preventative.. which means therapy right now and hopefully afterwards trying something completely out of my norm..
so what would be out of your norm and still a secret wish? (and seriously, just joking about the shirley valentine)

Ingrid

I also like that in the pic of you in the car you have your Ed Hardy scarf on. Very Isadora Duncan.

Dawn- A Beemer! Wow. John was trying to be frugal but still get something he wanted.

Krissy- I've been reading about these natural pools. I think they sound pretty cool. But really a freaking n ice lawn would make me happy . It's so dry around here.

E4E- Sometimes i think its stupid to get a pool when the ocean is so close but we'll see.

Gary- Yeah. He's getting one of those too.

Ingrid- I'm not a tat kind of girl BUT I have been talking w/my sister-in-law about Portugal. We'll see. What wouldn't I do if I didn't have the responsiblity of children. I would definitely go travel the world. Hell the country would be fine.
What about you Ingrid?

Carla- Well you know what happened to her so I'm trying to make sure I keep them short. Anyway the scarf was the only thing in the store that fit me. Still I love it. It is inspiring design ideas.
