All but the grout...

Before

After(but still ungrouted)

The floor of the waterfall has a little flounder hiding in the sand.

I can't wait to see it grouted because thats when it really comes together. Probably next week.

It already looks great even without the grout. I can imagine the water trickling down your mosaic and creating a peaceful atmosphere. Who needs TV?

You can make the mosaics you create talk AND sing; can't you teach them to finish themselves and jump up on the wall?:)

I'm truly honored to know such prodigious talent!!

Hi Mary,
Long time I've been away from here. I stopped in at the perfect post of your gorgeous tiling. A flounder in the sand... works excellent!

wow, that is incredible..I feel envious you have that time to spend (never mind tax-time, I mean 'no kid distraction/interuption' wise) and just BE creative. For now, I'll live vicariously through you and Susan (aka Crow)..[s]

good luck with tax season

Oh, I thought I had left a comment here already. What a fantastical niche! The flounder hides in the sand like in real life. Where's my fishing pole?
